iOS 4.3 coming in Mid-December..
Whoa — we just got iOS 4.2.1, after what seemed like forever, and now there are rumblings about iOS 4.3?
Apparently so. MacStories’ tipsters tell them that Apple’s prepping another big update to arrive around the middle of next month. The new software will let users subscribe to content like The Daily, an upcoming iPad-only newspaper that will be coming from News Corp.
This seems to align with rumors about an Apple event that may come on December 9, when pundits expect Cupertino to introduce the content subscriptions features.
According to tech pundit extraordinaire John Gruber, of Daring Fireball, “[This] initiative is going to launch with a press event, with Murdoch (and perhaps other newspaper and magazine executives) joining Steve Jobs on stage …”
